The second Procurement 4 Health Scotland Conference (P4H) took place last month at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
The annual event is hosted by NHS National Services Scotland’s National Procurement in partnership with BiP Solutions to bring together healthcare suppliers and health procurement professionals from across the country to discuss the latest innovations, developments and opportunities in Scotland’s healthcare sector.
Over 700 delegates and exhibitors attended this year’s event. Our chief executive, Colin Sinclair, kicked off the line up of speakers where the themes of the day, patient outcomes and innovation, came alive through various discussions and workshops.
Collaboration was a key theme and Colin discussed the challenges that the NHS faced and how the organisation would tackle them, noting that we cannot do it alone.
“Our supply partners are fundamental to the delivery of our services and to the ability for the NHS in Scotland to provide excellent care.”
National Procurement have produced a special selection of short films to showcase the difference that is being made across Scotland through procurement collaborations and innovative ideas.
These videos are now live to view on our YouTube Channel.
Thank you to all attendees for helping make this year’s event another success. The third annual P4H Scotland conference will take place on 22 April 2020. To register your interest, please visit the P4H website - www.p4hscotland.co.uk
