2016 to 2017 has been another very successful year for us here at NSS. At our Annual Review on Thursday 23 November, Chief Executive Colin Sinclair and Chair Professor Elizabeth Ireland talked about our performance throughout the year and gave an indication of our future direction.
With a team of around 3,600, we improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Scotland. We do this by working closely with our stakeholders, providing services and solutions that support the delivery of public services, in a cost efficient and effective way.
We’ve achieved 90% of the objectives set out in our Local Delivery Plan, focusing on delivering services which make an impact in three main areas for Scotland:
- health impact
- financial impact
- environmental impact
We’ve produced an ‘at a glance’ summary of our work, which provides information on aspects of our performance in year 2016/17.Download the summary of our Annual Review for 2016 to 2017 (PDF, 116KB)
Shona Robison MSP, the Scottish Government’s Cabinet Secretary Health and Sport, wrote to our Chair, Professor Elizabeth Ireland, in response to the review.
