Did you know that we’ve been involved in introducing a colonoscopy pill that can take 400,000 pictures inside the human body?
What about our role in improving patient safety while saving £250,000 in one health board alone?
Or that we’ve helped reduce fraudulent claims by £1.3m through our collaboration with the University of Glasgow?
As demand on the NHS continues to rise, so do expectations. There’s widespread agreement that further transformational change is needed to deliver safe, affordable and sustainable services in the years to come. From ‘smart’ colonoscopy pills and improving patient safety to reducing fraud, we’re delivering for Scotland and improving for the future.
At the NHSScotland event on 18 and 19 June 2018 at Glasgow’s Scottish Event Campus (SEC), we shone a spotlight on a range of pioneering projects at our stand. We shared how collaboration and partnership working were key to the success of these projects, improving the health and wellbeing of the people of Scotland at both a national and local level.
