The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service National Centre for excellence

In 2017, the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service will begin to move to its new national headquarters at Heriot-Watt University Research Park. The Jack Copland Centre will deliver a first rate service in the processing, testing, supply, research and development of blood and human donor tissues and cells.

When the centre opens several core activities and services will be consolidated on one purpose-built site.
