Covid-19 Universal Claim Framework service (UCF)

3 April 2020

The UCF supports electronic claiming for pharmacy-led services.  A new service is now available to claim for items supplied for patient care in support of Covid-19.

 

Minor Ailment Service available to non-exempt patients

3 April 2020

The Minor Ailment Service (MAS) is now available for any patient registered with a Scottish GP practice that is not resident in a care or nursing home or has registered as a temporary resident.

More information can be found in the published circular “PCA(P)(2020) 6 - Minor Ailment Service Amendment Directions” and on the MAS page showing eligibility for the service.

Prescription Form Ordering 

3 April 2020

Orders for prescription forms should be submitted in the normal manner.

 

NHS Pharmacy First Scotland

3 April 2020 

The NHS Pharmacy First Scotland service launch planned for mid-April has been postponed.
